Cikarang Listrindo (POWR) Receives "The Best Corporate Emission Reduction Transparency Award 2026"

May 4, 2026 - PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk (POWR) has been honored with “The Best Corporate Emission Reduction Transparency Award 2026”, organized by Investortrust at Hotel Aryaduta, Jakarta, on Thursday (April 30, 2026).

The Company, a private power generation provider led by President Director Andrew K Labbaika, was among 22 publicly listed companies recognized under the category “Public Company with Trusted Diamond Achievement in Emission Transparency.”

In executing its business strategy, Cikarang Listrindo remains firmly committed to supporting government initiatives promoting renewable energy as part of broader efforts to mitigate climate change. As stated on its official website, the Company has initiated energy transition projects, with a particular focus on solar and biomass energy development.

Darwin, Director of Financial Derivatives and Carbon Exchange Supervision at Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), emphasized that the event extends beyond ceremonial recognition, serving as a tangible acknowledgment of the business sector’s commitment to addressing climate change challenges.

“Looking ahead, OJK encourages companies to further strengthen their emission reduction initiatives while enhancing institutional capacity and leveraging market-based instruments, including carbon trading through the carbon exchange,” he stated in his keynote remarks.

He further highlighted that synergy, transparency, measurable actions, emission reduction, and active participation in carbon markets will be critical in establishing a resilient and globally competitive sustainable financial ecosystem.

“We extend our congratulations to the organizers and award recipients. We hope these achievements will serve as a benchmark and inspire other corporations to continuously enhance their sustainability commitments,” he added.
