Cikarang Listrindo Encourages Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in North Cikarang to Upgrade through enhancing their Capacities

Bekasi, June 27, 2023 - Dozens of MSMEs in North Cikarang received training to enhance their business capacity from PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk (CL) on Tuesday (June 27). This is part of the efforts to level-up the MSMEs.
 
The Company collaborated with the North Cikarang MSMEs Forum (FUCU) for the event, which was held on International MSMEs Day. The theme of the event was "Spirit of Mutual Cooperation, Optimistically Boosting the People's Economy." A total of 28 MSMEs received the training.
 
Qamarunisa, the Regional Coordinator of Champion MSMEs and the speaker at the event, presented topics on MSME strategies in facing the disruption era and practice of understanding marketing techniques.
 
"In addition, MSMEs, especially those in the food and beverage (F&B) sector, were provided with knowledge about the importance of the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM), so that F&B products can become leading products in Bekasi Regency," said Qamarunisa during the session.
 
In addition to providing capacity building, the Company also provided infrastructure support for MSMEs in the F&B sector, to enable their products optimization and improve the economic conditions in the local area.
 
In line with the Company's goals through its Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Responsibility (CSR and Environmental) program, this activity contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 1, which aims to reduce poverty.
 
The event was also attended by local stakeholders, including representatives from the Bekasi Regency Cooperative and MSMEs Agency, the North Cikarang Subdistrict Head, the Karangraharja Village Government, the Chairman of the North Cikarang MSMEs Forum, and KREASI Karangraharja Team as the Company's partner.
