Cikarang Listrindo Advanced to Digital Transformation for Performance Growth

Jakarta, 18 September 2018 – PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk (POWR) which has entered its 25th year of operation this year, as one of the recipients of “Indonesia Fast Growing New Public Company 2018” award by Warta Ekonomi, decided to advance to digital transformation.
Transformation was done through an adaptation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business system that uses the System Application and Product in data processing (SAP) S/4HANA platform.
The Company teamed up with PT Wilmar Consultancy Services (WCS), a leading SAP partner with over 12 years of experience in the world of Information Technology (IT) consulting and earned an award as “The Best SAP Services Partner” by SAP Indonesia two years in a row which the Company believes can provide comprehensive, effective and efficient IT solutions.
The SAP S/4HANA ERP system implementation process is in the drafting stage with the completion target of ‘Go Live’ in 2019. Wilmar positions itself as a partner for the Company in implementing digital transformation by offering IT-based business solutions that focus on simplifying business processes (simplify), accuracy of reports and tracking (tracing and control), integrated (integrated) and ease of implementation (ready).
In PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk’s SAP Kick-off Ceremony at the Company’s office, in his speech, Christanto Pranata, Financial Director of the Company said that change is a process that is not easy and requires commitment, as every person must change for the better.
“We must be sure that the Company is transformed for the better to continue to grow. The company will demonstrate its commitment in implementing SAP to work units so that accurate data can be accessed in real-time. “Christanto said through his press release on Sunday (9/16).
Director of Wilmar Consultacy Services, Ade Rahmat who was present at the ceremony explained that every project undertaken has its own challenges, including the implementation of SAP S/4HANA for PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk.
“However, our quality and capability in providing SAP S/4HANA for more than 10 customers is proof of our excellence. Of course, with the help of a large commitment from the Company’s management, we believe that ‘Go Live’ SAP will be resolved in 2019,” he explained.
Ade also said, “Digital transformation is now the main agenda of many companies in Indonesia, this is the effect of the rampant disruption of technology. Companies are encouraged to be able to transform using technology to keep up with digital developments.”
“The solution offered by Wilmar is an end-to-end business solution complete with analytic features and a mobile user interface / Fiori, so this business application can be accessed anytime, anywhere and on any device,” he added.
