POWR Renewable Energy Surges 123% Throughout 2025

Apr 7, 2026 - PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk (POWR) recorded a significant surge in renewable energy production throughout 2025. This increase aligns with the company’s strengthened sustainability strategy and operational efficiency.
Total renewable energy generated reached 251.5 GWh, marking a 123.9% increase compared to 112.3 GWh in 2024.
POWR Corporate Secretary Rani Maheswari stated that the company remains committed to operating with attention to environmental and social aspects, particularly for communities around its operational areas.
“The company will continue to uphold its commitment to carrying out sustainable operations,” said Rani Maheswari in a written statement on Friday, April 10, 2026.
In line with this achievement, the company received two Green PROPER ratings from the Ministry of Environment. These were awarded to the PLTGU Jababeka power plant unit and the Babelan co-firing coal power plant for their environmental management performance in 2025.
The Green PROPER rating indicates that the company not only complies with regulations but also exceeds compliance standards through innovations based on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
“This Green PROPER achievement is a form of recognition of the Company’s commitment to conducting operations that are responsible toward the environment and society,” she explained.
PROPER Program
The Environmental Performance Rating Program (PROPER) is a national evaluation program organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment to assess corporate environmental management performance across Indonesia.
In the 2025 assessment year, the PROPER program was participated in by more than 5,300 companies from various industrial sectors across Indonesia, with 282 companies successfully achieving Green and Gold ratings.
The Green PROPER rating is awarded to companies that not only comply with all environmental regulations but also go beyond compliance through innovation and the implementation of sustainable environmental management practices.
The Company’s achievement of the Green PROPER rating is the result of strong collaboration and hard work across all components of the organization, along with its stakeholders. This accomplishment reflects the Company’s commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance while strengthening environmental management practices and fostering collaboration with communities around its operational facilities.
The Company carries out various sustainable community empowerment programs through four main pillars: socio-economic development, education, health, and the environment, implemented across each of its operational areas.
In addition to promoting economic independence through business development initiatives and food security programs, the Company also enhances community capacity to face disaster risks through community-based disaster mitigation programs.
In its 2025 Sustainability Report, PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk (POWR) recorded that biomass utilization generated 205 GWh of clean energy, an increase of 155.5% compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, solar power capacity (PLTS) rose to 45.7 MWp, with energy production reaching 46.3 GWh.
On the other hand, the Company also continues to implement community empowerment programs based on the same four pillars—socio-economic, education, health, and environment. These programs include business development, food security, and community-based disaster mitigation as part of its beyond-compliance approach under PROPER.
Management views these achievements as an important foundation for strengthening the Company’s contribution to supporting the national energy transition and sustainable development in Indonesia.
