Bekasi Regency Government Honors Outstanding CSR Partners at the 2026 CSR Awards

Public News|July 02, 2026

Jul 2, 2026 - The Bekasi Regency Government, through the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), continues to recognize industrial estate operators, companies, foundations, and local champions for their contributions to community development and regional progress.

The 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards were held at the Swatantra Wibawa Mukti Building, Bekasi Regency Government Complex in Central Cikarang, on 2 July 2026. The event was officially opened by Bekasi Regional Secretary Endin Samsudin, representing Acting Regent Asep Surya Atmaja.

Speaking on behalf of the Acting Regent, Endin emphasized that Bekasi Regency's rapid investment growth should be accompanied by stronger social responsibility, sustainable development, and close collaboration among the government, businesses, and local communities.

"Corporate Social Responsibility is a social investment that delivers tangible benefits to the community through improvements in education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, and infrastructure development," he said.

Endin also highlighted the continued growth of CSR contributions in Bekasi Regency. Throughout 2025, the total value of CSR funding increased by 10.63% compared with the previous year. The number of CSR partners also grew from 114 organizations in 2024 to 129 organizations in 2025.

"The number of CSR partners increased by 13.16% compared with the previous year. This reflects the growing commitment of companies to supporting and growing together with the communities of Bekasi Regency," he added.

According to Endin, this growth represents a valuable foundation for the Regency—not only in terms of the increase in CSR contributions, but also in ensuring that each CSR program addresses community needs, aligns with regional development priorities, and delivers meaningful and sustainable impact.

"Through the CSR Awards, the Bekasi Regency Government recognizes companies and CSR partners that have delivered outstanding programs with measurable impact, targeted implementation, and strong alignment with the Regency's development priorities," he said.

Endin also expressed his hope that the CSR Awards would serve not only as a symbol of appreciation, but also as a shared motivation to continuously improve the quality of CSR programs through greater innovation, measurable outcomes, and sustainable benefits for the wider community.

"We hope to see more collaborative CSR initiatives in the future—programs that are responsive to community needs and contribute to the achievement of Bekasi Regency's development goals," he concluded.
