Our Assets

The Company carries out activities in providing electricity through three Company's assets, i.e. power generation, transmission and distribution.

Power Generation

The Company owns and operates its power plants by using main energy sources from gas and coal. Our power plants are located in 3 (three) locations with a total installed capacity of 1,144 MW. In addition, the Company also uses renewable energy sources to strengthen Company's generation mix, such as rooftop solar power of 21,2 MWp and PLTU Babelan co-ring capacity up to 28 MW.

Transmission

The Company owns and operates electricity infrastructure through a 150kV transmission line for more than 30km long, to connect the 3 (three) power plant locations. This brings as one of the longest transmission lines owned by a Private Power Utility (PPU) in Indonesia.

Distribution

The Company owns and operates electricity infrastructure through 20kV distribution line, stretches for 1,715km long, which is equivalent to a round trip distance of Jakarta to Singapore, to supply power to the industrial customers in 5 (five) industrial estates.

The Company provides electricity distribution from non-renewable and renewable energy sources. Furthermore, to support the creation of an electric vehicle ecosystem, the Company provides and operates EVCS available in the industrial estate we serve.

Our Business

Our Power Plants

The Company has a long and successful operating track record as one of the longest-running PPU in Indonesia and positioned itself as a partner of PLN and 5 (five) industrial estates together with various industries operating in these regions.

The Company has gas-fired units with an aggregate capacity of 864 MW and 280 MW steam power plant  located across the Cikarang and Babelan, Bekasi regions, respectively, as well as Rooftop Solar Power up to 21.2 MWp installed on customer's and the Company's operational office rooftop.

The diversification in its operations allows us to provide an uninterrupted power supply. The steam power plant, commissioned in 2017, along with the Company's initiative in co-firing up to 28 MW and the installation of Rooftop Solar Power up to 21.2 Mwp  - adds to our operational diversification, given the different site location as well as fuel diversity.

Rooftop Solar Power

The Company shows its commitment to renewable energy (RE) and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through the development of Rooftop Solar Power (PLTS Atap). These PLTS Atap are installed at the Company’s operational offices in Jababeka, Babelan, and MM-2100, as well as on industrial customers’ rooftops to meet internal energy needs and support customer requirements.

Since its implementation in 2019, the total installed capacity has reached 21.2 MWp. The Company aims to increase this capacity to 100 MWp by 2035 as part of its ongoing efforts to support the green energy transition and achieve sustainability targets.

Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU)

In 2023, the Company operated two EV Charging Stations (SPKLU) in the EJIP and MM-2100 industrial areas, continuing the pilot project for EV Charging Stations (SPKL) at its operational office in Jababeka in 2021.

This initiative reflects the Company’s support for the Government's program to accelerate electric vehicle adoption. The Company aims to transition 80% of its fossil-fuel-based operational vehicles to electric vehicles by 2030 and plans to expand to 30 SPKLU/SPKL in the future.
