PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk Donates Aid to BPBD Bandung Regency for Earthquake Victims

29 September 2024 - As part of its commitment to support disaster victims, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team of PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk has donated aid to the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bandung Regency. The assistance is aimed at residents affected by the recent earthquake in Lebaksari Village, Cibereum Village, Kertasari District, Bandung Regency, on Saturday (September 28, 2024).
During the handover ceremony at the BPBD office in Bandung Regency, PT Cikarang Listrindo’s CSR team expressed that this donation reflects the company’s responsibility to help communities impacted by disasters. They hope the assistance will ease the burden on the victims and accelerate recovery in the affected areas.
"We are committed to always supporting the community, especially in emergency situations like this. The aid provided includes basic necessities that are expected to help meeting the urgent needs of the earthquake victims," said Dita, representative of PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk.
"We deeply sympathize with the earthquake disaster that occurred in Bandung Regency.
“As part of our concern for the community, PT Cikarang Listrindo is striving to provide aid to those affected by the earthquake, including basic food supplies, bedding, tents, tarps, and medicines," Dita added.
BPBD Bandung Regency expressed a deep appreciation for the donation and hopes that more parties will contribute to the disaster relief efforts.
"The assistance from PT Cikarang Listrindo is expected to support BPBD’s operations in distributing aid and restoring areas affected by the earthquake," said Drs. Uka Suska Puji Utama, a representative of BPBD Bandung Regency.
The earthquake that struck Bandung Regency recently caused a significant damage to various areas, including homes and public facilities. Aids from various parties are highly anticipated to alleviate the victims' burden and expedite rehabilitation in the affected regions.
Present at the donation ceremony were Dita and Ihsan, from PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk public relations, along with Junaedi and Capt. Eko Bagus Saputra SH, from the security team at PT Cikarang Listrindo PLTU Babelan.
